Rest in Books
^^^^^^^^^^^

It is ripe time
To my eyes to take rest now
They have traveled miles and miles
Through the dear lanes of the book pages

On every day they swiftly drowned
Themselves in the sea of books
And swam together in lanes and bye lanes
Of some book or the other

After so long and hectic travel
The eyes now needed some rest
But how to satiate the quest of my mind
So easily allowing some rest to eyes

Even if the mind is not alert at any time
The eyes continued to pace through
But when eyes are not interested any more now
How the mind resolves this stalemate is yet to be known.
