Sunshine

I've stood in the warmth of your sunshine
Felt it's glow upon my skin
It's tickle along my nerves
My soul longs for the heat of your summer
To warm my body the long winter through
And melt the snow from our hearts
Left frozen from blizzards of past betrayals
Leaving warm puddles of contentment
to glisten in the golden rays
Created in the warmth of your sunshine

This is so very gently spoken, filled with such longing as I've never seen but have always felt (for one can't SEE feelings, can one?) Exquisite job...

Thank you Misty. As always you have such wonderful words for my poetry. And so insightful, too.
Yes, it's full of longing. As am I, it would seem.
