The Cerulean Swells

From the depths of an ocean I stare and stare
Oh waves of ice, lift me high
To feel the wind on my skin, bare
To fall in to a deep blue sky
The chained man, the caged bird
Dance with me death, upon the floor of glass
I hear the call that no soul heard
Ignoring the world as they walked on past
The sun through a tree, warm on my skin
I never shall know the flicker of flame
For these cerulean swells drive me to sin
And no other shall fetter me here again
Find me child, pull me free of the tears
I shall step out and lie on the grave
Only the owl and fox know my fears
For the ocean of loss lies deep for the brave
lucid_dream
hey that's really good
