I have upgraded the forum, but am still in the process of customizing and adding functionality that was present in the old forum. This will take me a few days. There will be no downtime. Currently, there is no email server setup yet, which means the only way to contact other members is through PM, or direct forum posts.
If anyone experiences any forum problems, email me at brainmaps-at-gmail.com and I will have it fixed.
Enjoy.

there is also an issue of not being able to jump to different pages of very long threads. For some reason, the multipage navigation is not being shown. A temporary way to get around this is to switch to LoFi viewing of the forum at
http://brainmeta.com/forum/lofiversion/index.php , or alternatively, append &st=100 to the thread url to start a thread at that post number (in this case, 100).

Is there no Recent Posts feature like before? How do I find out what the recent posts were without logging in?

An "Active Topics" link is now available at the top right of the page, next to the "Search" and "Calendar" links. You do not have to be logged in to use the "Active Topics" link. The "Recent Posts" feature will be added. soon.

Thanks for reinstating the Active Topics. Now I am having some trouble finding the last post in Acronym Word Game (Vocabulary and Word Games). Yesterday the highest post I could find was number 100. Today it's 40. Before the forum "upgrade" there were hundreds.

Yes, this is a problem that will be fixed. In the interim, there are two solutions. One is to select Options in the upper right of the thread and then select "Outline Mode" (which will show you page numbers in the thread). The other option is to switch to LoFi viewing of the forum at

Todo list for new forum
1. fix page numbering problem in threads
2. fix Member and Post Counts at bottom of main page of forum from sporadically getting undefined or going to zero.
3. add 'Recent Posts' page like in previous forum
4. add additional profile info beside each post
5. customize, tweak, and stylize further.

Don't forget to fix the problem accessing the last post of threads with multiple pages. Switching to outline view is just too cumbersome.

Hmmm, I posted this list a month ago and still have all those Todos to do. Ok, first on the list is the thread multipage problem. I think I said this somewhere else, but to repeat, I will see about fixing the multipage problem this weekend.

Tried fixing the multipage problem just now but unfortunately, it still remains a problem. Still working on it though.
