Transcendental Sonnet #1423:
Desire

The more we want the less we get
Desire is suffering
Happy are those who can forget
Desiring anything

The less we seek the more we find
That which the heart requires
The body through a quiet mind
Receives the heart's desires

The love you seek will come to you
Ask not and you will know
Forget and let your dreams come true
At last when you let go

For empty must the vessel be
To be filled to satiety
