Sun and wave shed burning face-
Blue whale echo sable sea,
to find a mate unseen-

Predators don a dinner scowl-
prey flee for coral shields-
a virgin star is commisioned,
to glaze the slumbering fowl.

Lovers burrow far inland-
expressing what lovers feel-
above the tides all calm,all well-
beneath black seas, only carnage swells.
