Hey Hey
cruising gently

cruising gently in this dream
not too clear or real, but seem
as though we lie there side by side
with no form left, nothing to hide

a voyage, slow and easy tune
of amber nectar painting moon
the sights, so quiet, a hand on head
of kneeling soul who is now fed

while you pass the words are gone
just the look becomes as one
with all who cared to glimpse beyond
and settle, peace, celestial bond

©2006 Hey Hey
+Steven Curtis Lance
There is such a sense of "peace, celestial bond," to this poem, my dear friend, that it makes me happy to read it, happy that you are feeling this peace.

You are blessed with a good and stable relationship, and the peace of those

"...who cared to glimpse beyond
and settle, peace, celestial bond"

Reading this, somehow, I worry about you a little less, and feel like you are in a good place, and safe. You deserve every happiness this crazy life can offer, and you should have this happiness. I share in this happiness, reflected, as the moon shares the light of the sun, reading these words of yours.

Our journey continues, our poetry deepens even as we do.

Thank you for this. I apologize, to you and to all our wonderful poets, for not replying more and better to all the treasures which we share; but we are healing now, both you and I and--it looks like--all of us, from all the wounds of life of late. We are still here; we have survived, and, increasingly, we begin to thrive.

I send you my love, along with my sincere respect and fraternal regard, in unbreakable solidarity for always.

Love,

+Stevie

Oh...wow...it's feelings like these, with imagery like this, that always crumbles the dungeon about my heart. I know these emotions but in a different way. Beautiful.
