Full Version: Hope and Expectations

The world reclaimed by us each day
is not a place that waits our touch.
A world is but our expectations,
we meet and play as so and such;
as a leash our mind may strain to lead,
as a noose our hearts may burn to fix,
what have we come then to expect from life,
as we turn on point these broken tricks?

but to face beyond what life may bring;
to the hope we follow, blindly led,
and to raise what life, unreasonably,
will expect to gain from us instead?
As we face, unreasonably hopeful,
what the world expects from us,
And we find our place and reason bourne
in the hope we live and trust.

Dear S'hawn
"As we face, unreasonably hopeful,
what the world expects from us,
And we find our place and reason bourne
in the hope we live and trust."

true in real terms
