**Bands of Bliss**
a band of mist, of bliss
winds so slowly round your wrist
playful feet of affection skip
touching but not touching
gliding up to your shoulders
your neck, your chest
light pressure, the increase of sensing
every movement, rain of wishes
and suddenly your bound
hands tied, locked
helplessly exposed
trembling with anticipation
the silk continues to run
around, between, through and out
faster, tighter, as turnadoes come
the lightning strikes
tsunamis roll, the drumstick pounds
away
over
and over
again
and again
and again
the echoing hall shakes to respond
and the feeling only grows
to find greater spaces, greater heights
until we reach the final climax
we lay
we rest
we breathe air
we hold on to the shining band
which separates skin from skin
yet lets a soul move in so deep
our lips have not met
and yet theyve kissed everlasting vows
our bodies have not touched
and yet they’ve brought down buildings
built new rome
but shhhhhh... no time to explain
all day to explore
the stone falls into the well
still waters run deep
and secrets are kept.

I say: YES!
Franziska, I know you know this, but some people do not: "Faust" is best translated as something like "Mr. Lucky" in idiomatic American English.
Ich bin Faust, and I am lucky indeed: dies faustus!
As my late friend Stanley Adams, who used to be our ASCAP President, wrote, in his most famous song, "What a Difference a Day Makes." A day, and getting my book done, and finally done right, with good cover photos--unfortunately of the author--by my talented shutterbug son Teddy. I have been a very gloomy Gus of late, but now here I am, on this St. Nicholas Day--6 December--posting a Christmas carol, and doing it with all my heart.
What a difference a day makes; what a difference love makes. Kind girl, I thank you for your graciousness and your grace, and for the fact that you are able to spin a web of shining beauty such as this. You are gifted. You must be a Faust too.
Ubi caritas et amor, Deus ibi est: love,

Hey +Stevie..
You're really sounding more lighthearted today, stimulated, describing things with spice and colour
Like the day I met you....
thank you for your encouraging reply, I was hoping you'd get around to it and like it, hmm *blush
Alot of hugs to you on St.Nickolas Day too,
Always Love,
F
