Stomach turning
Twisting, burning
Heartache Kills
When you've lost
What you're so desperatly
Yearning

Thoughts are racing
My head hurts
Spinning, dizzy
Memories
Are a lifelong curse

Lost forever
We will never be again
One thousand pounds
Rest heavy on my chest

Continue pacing
When will all the misery
Of being without you
End?

I'm sorry for everything
Unfixable mistakes
How much more
Can a broken heart ache?

Shaking, unstable
Violently sick
Give me more drugs
So I can temporaraly
Feel peace

I'm a wreck
Without you
To many words
Left unspoken
Now I must rot
In my self destruction

I truly love you
Forever you will have my heart....

(When I cry myself to sleep
Know it's your name
That I whisper in the dark)

I really feel this, Misty; it's beautiful.

Love is so painful, yet pain so lovely when you speak of it like this: you have a great gift, and I thank you for sharing it with us here.

Stay with us always, and drive away the ache from us; you bring love and light and chase the demons away. Thank you for this, dear Misty.

I love all your poems; I'm sorry I don't get round to commenting on them all... I always say I mean to do better, and I do.

I love that one you posted in Eros called Doll, by the way; that one's just great, and I love that effect of having it all in red bold italic up until the final word: doll. I found that really stunning.

You're doing great! You make me feel better, make me believe.

Love (above all else),

I feel it too Misty! I don't get why love has to hurt so bad, you would think it would be one of the most painless processes in our lives. Yet we find ourselves crying in it's wake, we hurt and ache, and yet we always try again? The human heart is a strange and illusive character indeed. Well written!

Be mindful to know that the wounded heart heals
And the greatest of gifts is the love that it feels.
