Hi friar Brad,

I am new in this forum too, a hearty welcome! I am pretty sure we better don´t discuss about intellegent design or similar topics. I am no fan of anybody! To be fanatic doesn´t sound to me very reasonable.

Hello Friar Brad,

Welcome to brainmeta!

I don't believe in God, but have no trouble accepting those who do.

I have found, however, that sensible discussion of religious topics can be nigh imposssible between those who do not believe and those who do believe.

Nonetheless, we are all free to state our own beliefs, listen to others beliefs and choose our paths according to our own experience and comprehension of what information is presented.

I sincerely hope you enjoy your visits and make good friends here.
If you have any questions, just post them in the 'feedback and suggestions' forum.

Bye for now, Bill.

Hi Brad,

Jesus has so many cool fans.

Eh, old pop buddy Jesus.

You know next year he will experience very serious difficulties with his religion.

You know everything is changing.

This may be a drive-by religious post. I've seen those around.

It is quite remarkable to see forum member # 7000 registered on such an interesting day: 13 January of James Bond year 2007.

That is interesting if I say so myself. It was entirely unintentional, though; I joined these forums minutes after discovering it. smile.gif

Plus, it is coincidental that my first name is Brad as well. I won't get into any personal information though.

Interesting coincidence indeed 'Brad'. Numbers and words are so attractive sometimes. One protocol activates another protocol, a spark generates spark, neuron chains are getting activated, network flashes, and the magic is getting to be conducted.

Though it does not matter how those coincidences do happen: intentionally following certain purpose, or accidentally just to deliver a message from the network, what is the most important is that the event happened (no matter how).

Welcome to Brain Meta 'Brad'.

I'm sorry Friar Brad but you are so wrong.

Jesus was born into a Jewish cult called the"Essenes".

It must be hard to go through life thinking that the Son of God is not an American.
Joesus
Jesus was actually born into a human cult rampant with ignorance and superstition where everyone has an idea about relative ideals and labels of identification that separates ideas of worth and reality according to belief that is individualized. Such a cult is the cult of ego where man is quick to judge according to his tendency to create systems of self measure.

He (Jesus) never actually called himself anything other than spirit, tho for the convenience of teaching referred to his body as the son of man and his essence in consciousness as the son of God.
Jesus the child began ministering to the effects of cult worship and the manipulation of God in relative terms to his teachers and local ministers as well as those who were interested in listening to what he had to say about God the absolute and God the relative ideal.
Jesus was just as much a Christian as a Hebrew for they are both derived from the Truth which is often defined in relative terms as belief and religion.

So actually in effect, Friar Brad isn't wrong according to the relative ideals of scripture that is not interpreted through enlightened perception, but is expressing what he knows relative to what he has learned and experienced.

Obviously everything is subject to interpretation and since all interpretation is subject to evolution and the expansion of consciousness being right, is, in its own relative field of comprehension subject to change in the expansion of relative awareness.
