Courage
When troubles rise up towering
And looming over me
Instead of merely cowering
Pretending not to see
I find it is empowering
For stubborn little me
To see them for just what they are:
Long shadows cast by little things
When light is low and far
Imaginary bullyings
Formed and fattened by fear
We are not afraid of shadows here
Just as a flashlight spears the night
Slicing the darkness everywhere
So confidence will put things right
And courage will conquer despair
Courage is the light: may yours burn bright

Yet another excellent rendition Steve!
It is good when everyday problems can described so fluently, incorporating the concepts needed to cope with them.
Ok., see problems though binoculars, but worry about them as seen through binoculars the other way round!

Thanks so much, Bill, for reading me and being so supportive and encouraging these years so faithfully.
I love your analogy about the binoculars!
Respect and solidarity, cheers and love, always,
+Stevie
