Equinox Eve

for Lori

Now after that yesternight rarity
Of rainbow thunder lightning chased away
The shards of summertime a clarity
Has dawned blue lucid still on me today

Not one leaf moves in the autumn-dawn sky

This blue bowl of silence under which I
Am forced to contemplate to wait as fate
Prepares for dark and light to calibrate
In equipoise to balance night and day

I believe in love today the eve of
Autumnal Equinox so come what may
They say this is the calm before the storm
That this is how the hurricane begins

I have something hurricanes cannot harm
I know a secret: he who loves most wins

Thank you, dear Misty.

I wish I could answer your question, but I honestly do not know the answer. Naming names in dedications is, as I have learned through experience, generally a mistake.

Thanks and love,

+Stevie
