I see the distant scars
Of blank faces
In my mirror
So I ran back to you
Hoping you’d chase away
My fears
In the cold loneliness
You left me here
Alone
Just broken on the inside
There is no place
I now call home
Tears roll down my cheek
As I watch you slip away
Tomorrow won’t change it
Time won’t fade what happened today

Hi Nika!
Italy's Finest, Alberta bound, I found this poem to be wonderful too (just like you).
I wish I had said something sooner, but I was writing these two silly poems today; having gotten some really wicked cool tattoo work done last night, I have been in a good--if silly--mood today.
I am so happy you are here. I will try and reply better.
Love,
+Stevie

Understood! A la famiglia!
We do have quite the connection, actually.
I'm just glad you remember me.
I've done lots of big fat books; it's crazy... the best one will be the very smallest: The Little Book of Lance, due to be ready for proofreading by 2 September. I like it because it has a narrative arc to it, and is short enough to just read straight through. It has a Prologue, then a body of ninety poems, and an Epilogue. It also has an inscription and some other parsley-like garnish on the side. Oh! And a killer cover painting done by my son the rock star, Stevie II! You probably haven't heard of him yet, he's in The Dane[ger] down here, and in another band all his own, but he just got signed to Interscope. I hope he will get rich and we will be able to party a lot (he has always been very good at sharing).
Ciao, cara mia; ciao for now...
Love,
+Stevie (and Freddie Noodles)
