Full Version: Soul Soup..

The Ingredients are simple
if you know where to find them

You need not take a trip to the market

When done, We'll have a soul...

Finely chop
all the heartbreak
of painful memories

Dice some happiness
for extra flavor

A dash of hope
To remove the bitters

A pinch of trust to
hold it all together

Add a heaping handful
of passion - to stay true
to what you believe in

Mince some truth
No matter how tough the skin is
(use a food processor if needed)

Add solitude to taste
To remind you how precious
company can be
(this can also help you reflect
and offer honorable lessons)

The hardest ingredient for a soul to find
hasn't got a price

It's forgiveness

A few spoonfulls will work wonders, to balance
the texture..ensuring a perfect consistency everytime

Mix well
don't wory of getting messy
use your hands
dig in
this will ensure all the ingredients
take to one another
the end result
is a perfect soul
everytime..

You are so right, Misty; I like the part about forgiveness (and of course passion as well!).

Your words ring true in the heart.

Love,

+Stevie
Hey Hey
i've heard of eating one's words, but this is a gastronomic delight indeed.
