tears

tears, like mercury
coalescing, on a dusty floor
reflecting a whole world, of life
in one small lustrous drop
a fearful step, away
and graceful bow, toward
a sword of pain, or death
to gently touch, and rest

tears, like vacuum
absorbing all, but losing none
then caressing, strings
of passion, words
that unspoken, sing
the ever moving stars, as hearts
and the sky, gently beat
to feel, as only two can
