misty
Shadows dance like whispering winds
Upon the dew drenched leaves
So lost and tangled deep inside
So hard to remember what one believes

Daylight fast approaches
Singing wistfully a tune
Among the rose beds harmony
Of all the sorrows in bloom

Of every dream destroyed
We remember a broken heart
So softly love approaches
So swiftly to depart

Gone before the sunset
Of wishful candy skies
And dead before the sunrise
Of tears that stain your eyes

Running as if possessed
Of every single pain
To stair into the nothingness
Drenched in acid rain

And we bleed so deeply
For what we think we know
Of love and life so empty
Once cherished long ago

Feeding off the mortality
The ageless sense of youth
Breathing the depth of sincerity
Believing it is the truth

And what is love when you are blind
What’s life if you cant feel
Taste the bitter with the sweet
And know this life is real

Not dreams of hope or happiness
Not fear of death and pain
Could spur the very will to live
And thus force you to live again

Exquisite, Misty; one can scarcely find the words with which to praise this poem, along with the heart which blooms and opens here.

I bow to the gift of your skill, to the beauty of your magic; this is poetry as it should be, this is that in which I believe.

I believe in you.

Love,

+Stevie
