Pokey
I know i'm breaking down
I'm lost and I want to be found
Can see the emptiness in my hands
Such a lonely sight
And I don't understand
I used to be happy when yesterday came
Tomorrow snuck in
Now things will never be the same
The world is so crazed
I walked into it's rumble
And walked out of it dazed
I know I'm breaking down
I'm lost and I want to be found
If anything I would give
My soul right down to the core
For the life I used to live
When living was so much finer
Facts of life were fun
And problems were only minor
This world I thought I could face
Picked me up in it's arms
And threw me to such a humble place
I know i'm breaking down
I'm lost and I want to be found
Didn't do nothing to deserve this pain
Didn't know facing this world
Could drive you insane
Wish that I could make things right
Turn back time
And change that night
The devil took me for a ride
My soul wasn't for sale
SO he took my pride
I know i'm breaking down
I'm lost and I want to be found
Used to be happy when yesterday came
Tomorrow snuck in
Now things will never be the same
If anything I would give
My soul right down to the core
For the life I used to live............

HI there...I'm new to the site...just thought I'd share a little something.
Breaking Down is basically just about making all the wrong choices....and as most poetry is...it's on the dramatic side....Sooo.....hope to be able to join you guys gracefully and I would be glad to share more with you.
