Full Version: COMMUNİSM IN AMBUSH

Communism has stamped its mark on the 20th century-a mark of aggression and cruelty, bloodshed and tears. Historians have estimated that its ideology has caused the death of 120 million people since the Russian Revolution of 1917. These casualties include not only soldiers killed on battlefields, but citizens murdered by their own governments. The whole world has seen the pitiless slaughter carried out by Communist leaders. One hundred million men and women, from the elderly to young people and infants, lost their lives to this cold, hard, savage ideology. Communist regimes have deprived tens of millions of their most basic rights and freedoms, ejecting people from their homes and systematically subjecting them to famines, slavery in labor camps and imprisonment. Millions have been the targets of Communist guerilla groups and terrorist organizations, and still others have lived in the fear of becoming targets for their bullets.

What are this ideology's roots? Where was Communism born? How did such a cruel, bloodthirsty worldview find adherents and supporters throughout the world? Why did it come to power and flourish, dragging millions in its wake? How did it come to an end, with the collapse of the Soviet Union? Or has it really ended, or does it still threaten every country on earth?

Does this serious threat still exist in the world? Regrettably, yes. Communism is waiting in ambush!

This well of bloodshed, which has cost the lives of 120 million, still exists. Communism has covered the top of the well to conceal its insidious activities and camouflaged its surroundings, setting it as a trap for the unwary. Its outward appearance may have changed, its adherents' names may be different, but it still awaits an opportunity to wreak pain on humanity once again, as it has in the past. This book's vitally important purpose is to rip the mask off this insidious and growing threat and reveal the true face of the Communist ideology that has caused so much pain and trouble.

And I wonder what the statistics are for the amount of deaths associated with democratic countries or imperialism for that matter- I will defintely get all my research paper together and give a total but Im pressed for time now...
(I live in a communist country by the way)

So lets look at the country I call home
approximately 5.1 million total Vietnamese casualites - this is not counting the deaths of agent orange and the ongoing problems associated with it (which I deal with on a daily basis)

SANCTION YEARS

A new survey of central and southern Iraq by the United Nations agency UNICEF shows that HALF A MILLIONn children under five years old died as a result of the U.$. war and sanctions from 1991 to 1998. (1) The UNICEF survey covered the parts of the country that are not under direct foreign control. These regions are home to 85% of the population. It showed that "under-5 mortality more than doubled from 56 deaths per 1000 live births (1984-1989) to 131 deaths per 1000 live births (1994-1999). Likewise infant mortality -- defined as the death of children in their first year -- increased from 47 per 1000 live births to 108 per 1000 live births within the same time frame."

Colombia
May 6, 2002 110 villagers killed in conflict
roughly 3500 people killed each year in U$ funded civil war
Washington Post, 6 May 2002.

Afghanistan
The war in Afghanistan is typical of U$ invasions, which are justified by the need to crush a dangerous enemy, but in the end result in more civilian deaths than combatant deaths, serving to repress and pacify the whole population. Professor Marc W. Herold of the University of New Hampshire has kept a running toll of civilian deaths in Afghanistan. He estimates:

* 3,000 - 3,400 civilian deaths [October 7, 2001 thru March 2002]

International focus on the relatively minor Falkland Islands War of Britain and Argentina with the widescale lack of interest in Burundi's killing or acquiescence in such killing of about 100,000 Hutu in 1972, of Indonesia slaughtering a likely 600,000 "communists" in 1965, and of Pakistan, in an initially well planned massacre, eventually killing from one to three million Bengalis in 1971.

I'm quite curious as to what other brainmeta members think of this

"Darwinism is their common inspiration. Capitalism and Fascism are Darwinism's right wing and Communism, its left wing. In every country, the spread of Darwinism gives rise to the sudden growth of both wings. Therefore, those who use Darwinism to support Fascism and capitalism will inevitably have supported Communism too!"

then this below a picture of Lennin shortly before he died
=====================================================
" Before he died, Lenin became mad. This photograph, taken shortly before his death, teaches an example of the torment God sends in this world upon leaders of irreligion. This end is announced in Verse 30:10 of the Qur'an: "Then the final fate of those who did evil will be the Worst because they denied God's Signs and mocked at them."

[Isn't a strange how this entire relook at communism from a political and religious view springs forth as China the sleeping dragon awakes, and I was hard pressed to read any further into this article]

======================================================
COMMUNISM'S HOSTILITY TO RELIGION

Bolshevik militants tearing down the Georgievsky church in the city of Gorky.

In the Qur'an, it is revealed that throughout history, cruel and tyrannical leaders have arisen who have denied God and religion. In one verse (28: 41), God calls them "leaders summoning to the fire." This kind of character typified by the person of Pharaoh in various accounts about Moses in the Qur'an. There have been other cruel rulers who opposed Prophet Abraham and the Companions of the Cave (a group of believers recounted in the Qur'an) and who, just like Pharaoh, killed people simply for having faith in God. It's possible to find these tyrannical characters in every era of history. These leaders of irreligion have committed similar acts of cruelty against their societies, used the same methods in trying to alienate people from religion, and led the unwary to destruction in this world and the hereafter.

Looking at ideologies of the last century that have brought the most trouble, pain, cruelty and brutality, we find merciless and irreligious leaders at their head. Those 20th-century leaders who most resemble Pharaoh as described in the Qur'an are the bloodthirsty, irreligious leaders of the Russian and Chinese Revolutions, Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse-tung and the fathers of their ideas, Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Charles Darwin exercised leadership in irreligion in yet another way by his theory of evolution.

and then this later

Lenin, with his rebellious spirit against God and religion, lost his mental balance and suffered great pain. God returned to Lenin in this world some of the cruelty he inflicted on people with his hostility to religion. The Qur'an (58:5-6) speaks of the terrible recompense that such cruel people will receive on the Last Day:

this is where i stopped reading this altogether

Hi Viet Steve,
I'm afraid I got little further than their first few sentences at their website!

They use their beliefs as if they are 'facts' and as such are no less dangerous than the fanatics letting off bombs all around the world so that they can go to paradise.

I have not the slightest evidence that these people are at all linked to terrorists, but their beliefs could well inspire some folks to commit truly heinous crimes.

They need to look at the whole picture before choosing their beliefs.
Rick
I think I should remind readers that the various medieval Crusaders were not "godless." The recent atrocities in Sarajevo (1990s) were done by Christian Serbs against Muslims and vice versa. Godlessness is not the problem. War (and absence of love) is the problem.
Hey Hey
Rick, do you think that war is a result of the immature stage of evolution that we are in and that it might not occur at some point in the future? As you know, evolution tends to favour the stronger and strength can ensure survival against adversity. (Strength can be physical or mental). Trouble with this is that the weak are exterminated and nature encourages it. This is not withstanding the possible unfortunate destruction of the winning, stronger party by such things as colliding with comets or solar flares. And of course a possible 'stronger' party might well be a virus or bacterium.
Rick
War is caused by ineffective or corrupt government. It's due to a tendency of people to let thugs, criminals, and aggressive leaders rule them in times of social stress. Good government prevents war. A nation can be judged by its war record.
