Climb

Climbing steeply
Focused only
On my goal
Lest I fall

Feeling deeply
Thinking lonely
If at all
In my soul

Some people watch
From down below
But none can catch
Me should this go
Wrong this long
Deadly song

Up at the top
The winds are strong
With a sharp drop

And you ask me
Might you come too
As you task me
To remain true

I will
But still
The way is unknown

We all climb alone
