Satori
I wade into the world warily
As I close one eye and hold my nose
A victim of curiosity
I suppose but this is how it goes:
I get outside and outlast the past
Curiosity makes me go fast
When I know in my case to go slow
Would be to waste the rush of this haste
To experience the universe
As it expands with my consciousness
Richer or poorer better or worse
Joyfully fearfully more or less
Eagerly tearfully I confess
To get outside myself is to see
What I look like in reality
Free of space free of time free to be
Out of context in eternity
I will soar more and more I will soar
As though I have never lived before
All is now new just now me and you
To be and see our way to be free
Intimate in immediacy!
