Hey Hey
No Mac version unfortunately. And you'd think everybody had a Mac as there seem to be at least three in every film and TV show!

Guess it's all part of Apple's rather lame attempt to make Macs look hip and cool, and Windows uncool.

It's a funny picture, imagining all the Microserfs are probably installing Google Earth on their comps and playing with it; I bet Bill Gates and company are really excited that Google has yet again exceeded everyone's expectations by introducing a superior piece of software that's FREE. Now why can't MS do that? I'll tell you; because all of the talent is at Google. MS may have all the money in the world, but they apparently lack the talent that Google has. Just goes to show you that all the money in the world doesn't buy you talent or result in a superior product. It's all in the intelligence, talent, imagination, and drive.

Apple don't need to make Windows uncool; it's in its genetic machine code!

Of course money can buy talent! That is what getting research grants is all about. Go ahead and knock Microsoft, but don't make crazy statements that actually supports their case. Diversity is the fruit of human success; that is the real reason why Microsoft is a potential threat - monopoly. What we should be doing is to maintain a lobby trying to encourage Microsoft to diversify further. For example, why can't it develop and support two or more formats of Office software? Attacking Microsoft wastes time, energy and money. Users of their software should use their voices and get proactive. We all sit back and ride the waves. Let's make some waves for a change.

Just one small final comment. I'm getting bored with Google and its similar sub-Google progeny. Something this big could surely change the format more often and stimulate we search freaks.

Enjoy the sunshine.
