It is all so hard for some of us, for me, for you, for that particular Unknown just now, who is known... and loved.

It is good we are together here; this is a good place, despite the best/worst efforts of many over many years to destroy us: they have failed. We are succeeding, we fragile ones armed only with our wounds, our poetry our pain.

The world has gone mad, led into the belly of the beast by the warmongering criminal Bush... catastrophe slowly unfolds... but you and I write poetry which really means something. The intimate and articulate expression of human experience, this profound and empathic sharing, truly means something; it connects, it heals, it brings us together, even now.
