Sapphire eyes flash tears
From long goodbyes
The depths become shallow
In the reflex of pain
Cast out and pulled back in
Again and again
The sky is falling now
The whole world is crashing down
In the intensity of frailty
I don’t need your open arms
I wont be victim
To your melodramatic charms

Those sapphire eyes close
Within a whirlpool of stony gray
Bleach blond plastic smiles
The source of our decay
I refuse to look back from this moment
and face your hallow glare
Guiltily I grieve for you
In my misplaced despair
I’m drowning in this emotion
The pressure forces me back down
I try to pretend it all away
But the sky is falling now

Tiny specs of bloody dreams portray
The life that left me unprepared
The dirty deeds of the after life
..a scandalous affair
But those eyes exist to taunt me
The blade that bleeds the vain
The venom of my visions
Causes so much pain

But I shall not falter
For The wisest of us say
Courage is not the lack of fear
But the will to act anyway
And I am afraid, make no mistake
Afraid of the hurt to come
The revelation of heart ache
I am drawn to darkness
It holds a sense of peace
A breath into dead lungs
It gives me such release

Forgiven if not forgotten
Never let me down
I will cry forever
…the sky is falling now
