Hey Hey
Jun 21, 2005, 11:06 AM
awaiting a night of
a morning full of tea
look at her look at me
with opening eyes to kiss
the soft warm hands to miss
the day was bright and fun
kissing clouds and sun
thinking love at home
and mind began to roam
the journey home was fast
her absence couldn’t last
a message on the way
with images to stay
then silhouette in moon
arising far too soon
away to sing her song
i cannot last for long

My dear friend, your poems just get better and better. There is such infinite tenderness expressed here, the sweet sorrow-joy of life, so beautiful, so fragile and so fleeting.
I am thinking of you from afar; it is the same moon in my sky. I hope the floodwaters have dried away and didn't hurt your home. I'm not surprised your Internet was down with all of that.
The solstice came when it was 11.46 pm for me (PDT), and I was glad of it. The sky was clear and I could see the full moon in my sign of Capricorn. Happy summer to you, kind friend.
Love,
+Stevie
