*Be strong in this Battle*

*My true friends understand and know how I'm feeling
I'd rather die than live my life without meaning
For no one, for nothing, serving only own fulfilling
Not being worthy of what love has been teaching
Nor of the magic that's present around us
I'd rather sacrifice my soul for the whole
Than prove human profanity
Leading an unsatisfying way of life
Pretending to drink, holding an empty glass without wine
Diving into self-righteous ignorance

My brothers this white heat burns brighter and hotter than you think
Its fire pure, its ardour profound, it's nature divine
Which can never be suffocated, but standing incorruptible
The shout of happiness resounds in my spirit and in my blood
The warmth of affection bubbling in great abundance
The strength of billions
You, my family, enjoy your life! and be on guard with me!
For those realizing their purpose will be primitively hindered
And still the trumpets will sound, they will be heard
When God comes noone can save their own being from his kingdom
So stay close, know you're not alone
Keep your nose clean, out of mud, out of dirt
Keep breathing in the vital air of health
Be fair to your heart, don't be deterred*

Religion is the opiate of the masses....
but this is a good poem.
+Franziska+
The cold word religion is indeed an empty thing, but Dedication, True Family/Friendship/Brotherhood, Love for life can be considered a good "opiate", and i have my share in it
thank you for your comment

"Take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything
to stand firm. Having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your
feet with preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield
of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all
the flaming arrows of the evil one.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which
is the word of God." Ephesians 6:13-17

this is a good poem. My only recommendation is to be careful of talking down to your audience. You probably are not even aware of it. To people who read this poem who have been where you currently are, some parts come across as potentially and probably unintentionally condescending, and at worse, naive. Great poem nonetheless. I'm looking forward to reading more from you.

thank you. I'm happy for sharing my individual experience of universal love
in poetic verse with you. We all have different perspectives
and use different words to express them, one topic has alot of
different sides and angles you can view it from, I am just sharing
my horizon.

As for the audience,
This encouraging poem was dedicated to my family and
true brothers, so I don't
believe they could be offended.

Respect,
Franziska
Hey Hey
life itself IS the meaning for many. but not ALL, and diversity is a tool of intelligence. sometimes beautiful poetry speaks different meanings to different readers. As does the term God.
