I hope the licking of wounds was not directed to me. You merely asked a question and I gave an honest answer. Your days are what you make of them and that one could not have been the best of my life since I haven't lived my whole life yet. Geesh

i posted it in poetry but seeing how people are closed minded and weirded out by weird things..it has moved. therefore, i couldnt have expected anything otherwise. however, had i known that it may have had the potential of being in the "reaml of ridculoso" i would not have replied with my prior reply.

About a week or two ago I was driving to work, totally stoned coming up to a left turn at a stoplight at 48th and Lincoln OK, Lincoln NE. This chick pulls up to my right with her window rolled down and my passenger window is down. She lookes an me and asks, "Hey Ive been looking all around town for 48th street do you know where it's at?" Which totally weirded me out and I just kind of stared at her for a couple of seconds with a genuinly puzzled look on my face.
"Yeah' I said 'uh yeah it's uh..right there" pointing directly in front of me.
At this point I know she's gotta be messing with me when she asks me again "48th and Lincoln's in that direction?"
So I just laughed basically, cuzz I don't care how stoned I was she had to be messing with me, maybe that's why too, I don't know.
She's not giving this up and asks,"48th and Lincoln...in that direction?!
At this point I give her a very serious expression and say,"Yeah, you can't miss it's uh...it's right there".
The light turns green and we say our good byes.

Hat's off to you lady. And I'm never smoking you again.
