Once my heart was gold
But with no one to hold
It simply grew cold
Shine drifted into the abyss
Still yearning for his kiss
Melting bright but now is black
Ripped and torn
Tortured and shattered
I once was happy
But now I'm tattered
Heartbroken and missing
The things he never said
Thought I had a chance
After my first hundred glance
I felt the burn
Of what was left
My heart caught fire
Now to ash
And disappeared in the abyss
Of my longing for his last kiss

I love this poem, Misty...

I feel like this right now.

Did you see my sonnet #1390, "Romantic Poet Seeking Muse"? The only reply I got to it was some "Unknown" laughing at me and telling me I am a fool; I agreed...

In any case, I am so glad you are here.

Thank you so much for being such an important and beautiful part of us.

Love,

+Stevie
