Transcendental Sonnet #1390:
Romantic Poet Seeking Muse

Sweet ladies I offer a proposition
I hope you will understand my position
As a man full-grown with children of my own
Yet somehow a child myself and utterly
At sea as to what is to be done with me

Would you have an idea any of you
What a man in my position is to do?

If so could you share it and yourself with me
See if we could somehow taste of ecstasy?

Is it too late for us to alter the fate
Of being alone which so long I have known?

I am no living legend and no master
My life sometimes resembles a disaster
But my heart is true and I am seeking: you

lol...you are such a fool

Yes, indeed I am a fool.

Yet even fools would like to be loved someday; I, a fool, dream just as you, Unknown.

May we both find happiness, and love. Perhaps you already have; I have not been so fortunate.

Would you like to join us as a member? I welcome you among us with the open heart of a fool.

Love,

Nice, descriptive writing - intriguing on several levels.
