SPARK

There is a spark,
But I must continue in this dark,
I am reaching out to you,
You promised you’d help me through,
But alone I am wandering,
Through day and night,
Pondering, if this love is right.

There is a spark,
When our lips meet,
I can barely stay on my feet,
Igniting the passions within me,
I don’t understand how this cannot be.
Why fate would tease,
While bringing me to my knees,
My heart melts with you.

There is a spark,
But then there is only this dark,
There is this doubt,
In my face,
My confidence,
Pushed out of place.

They take this spark,
And swallow it,
I want to follow it,
To leave this dark.

Will you help me as you promised
long ago when our love was so young?

Wait, does Knowmad have a womb in his tummy? I hope this doesn't mean you've been canibalizing small children? Haunting write Mandy.

So you do have a womb? Just kidding Knowmad. In Rodger's defense you never know on this forum, I could be a sixty year old man! I'm not though. I promise.

By The Way Knowmad:

Congrats on the whole boyfriend, I love you, cell phone thing! I know how I feel when my boyfriend says he loves me, it never gets hold. That's a big step, tread carefully.

Sorry knowmad. Even so, a your tummy is no place for a womb! I was only trying to be humorous. I'll be more careful about letting my sarcasm escape next time.
