In silence we sit,
You and I,
My head on your shoulder,
Our bodies so close,
And I can feel your heart,
And the gentle trace of your lips
And the softness of your touch,
I can feel tears hiding in the corners of my eyes,
In this beautiful moment,
When I truly believe that you love me,
When I truly believe that we can outlast,
All these fears and doubts,
And I know, this is it,
This is what I want,
Until by fate’s loving design,
We shall be forever.

I wish this could be felt by all humankind. To love and be loved is the ultimate expression of our humanity. Beautifully written Mandy. God bless the child that's got his own.
