Full Version: a helping hand

I was bleeding inside
felt the weight of the world
that's when I felt a kiss on my cheek
yet again by one of the family
and I know it's all ok
there's one that understands
one that walked the journey before
and he loves me ~so~ much... too much perhaps
laughs at my struggle, lifts me back into his skies
but it is the greatest gift that one can share...
best thing about it it comes so naturally
I'm so happy he lends me his hand, carries my burdens
what an unselfish friend I have... we paint over grey
If my smile fills his day with light I am worthy of life
the gentle wind in my back on a sunny day tells me you're there
i hear your sweet whispers of encouragement in the air
i feel the warmth of your arms around me protecting my breath
i'm just realizing how much you care...

Glad to hear you are feeling better!

You are writing well, and you sound happy.

I certainly wish you every happiness on your journey.

Someday maybe I will find someone of my own, or maybe not; in any case I am content, continent within myself, knowing at least I do my best...

...and never mind the rest.

Cheers,

+Stevie
