You were warned.

LAST NIGHT

Heavy are these eyes,
That last night slept not.
Tired is this mind,
That was filled with you.
Your smile swimming in my dreams.
Your smell lingering on my pillow.
Your taste still on my tongue.
My heart, under siege,
By the sadness of being,
Without you tonight.
Hey Hey
sweet poem.

Thanks, it's a little hokey, but I like it.

Works for me; it's another of these cool atmospheric snapshots you've been doing. I like it.

It's not cheesy... it's romantic; it's a subjective subject.

Cool poem for the New Moon, where the stars are so bright since the moon is so dark (I just really noticed the contrast in the sky a minute ago when I was in my back yard); it's a romantic time.

Thanks for sharing this.

Love,

+Stevie

I'll keep sharing if y'all keep reading!

Stevie-
A new moon is romantic unless you are trying to walk anywhere in nature without a flashlight! I was camping this weekend, and the things I walked into... because I refused to use a flashlight...cars, small trees, holes, strange and pointless poles in the middle of a field, my shins are brusied to hell and back!

The doctor advises Mandy to wear long pants until the bruises heal, and avoid further camping encounters without a flashlight!

Yowza! Yowzarowza!

I'm sorry your shins are bruised, Manders; you make a good point.

Be sure to read my latest poem, "Absurdity Saves the Day!"

Love,

Mandy,

I love the poem. Very nice. You should most certainly keep posting, whenever it strikes your fancy. We love reading what you write. I have to take some "me" time and sit down to try to write. I have all these swirling emotions, but nothing has sounded well enough to write yet. It will come to me eventually.

Love you babe,
Nikki
