FREUNDSCHAFT

Eine enge Verbindung,
Die zwischen zwei Menschen entsteht,
Ein geheimnisvoller , fast magischer Bann,
Der meist fuer immer besteht

Es ist wunderschoen, wenn es jemanden gibt,
Der dich gut versteht,

FRIENDSHIP

A close connection,
Evolving between two human beings,
A mysterious, nearly magic spell,
That usually lives on forever

It is wonderful, if there is someone,
Who understands you well,
Who appreciates you and will go
Through thick and thin

Someone, who simply likes you
How you act and how you are
Who knows your errors,
But forgets...

Someone, who's always ready to cry with you
And also laughs gladly with you,
Who makes something special
Out of ever second

Someone, who knows the melody of your heart
and plays it to you when you forget it,
who knows your strengths and weaknesses
And knows, what is important to you

Someone, that always time has for you,
Your grief, your concerns
Will borrow his smile to you
On a bad day

It is simply beautiful, if there is someone
whom YOU are important to
Because it is this
that makes a FRIENDSHIP really important

I pray for the sunshine to caress your cheek

Illuminating a heart with the light from its glow
Erupting with beauty and a passionate flow.
A river of fire and hot burning coals,
Spring from your well and threaten my toes.

A connection is made that cannot be broken.
Forged by the heat and the steely words spoken.
Elements bonded by the smoldering embers.
Wonderful moments as friendship remembers.

Spirits entwined playing cosmic tag

As the response has now increased, I should point out that the poem has a more sinister undertone. That is, just one friend can be the cause of problems and of a whole humankind type.

Frienship treasures in all serene hearts
Love resonates in those coloumns of life
