… the very time, the very space
this cold wind
takes the voice
it steals the words
…rewrites the message
this desert of bones
crumbles to dust
in the hand
…conceals the history
this unhindered light
illuminates the mind
erases the soul
…scorches the life
this unceasing pulse
of creation
permeates
… the very time, the very space

I like this surrealistic landscape; it feels good to my imagination.
I like to go inside your poems and walk around for awhile, you know?
Cool.

this one has time and space; others are more dangerous. your support in poetryland is so comforting. i'm on the late shift again, hoping someone might wake up and say a word. but let them sleep, escape for a while longer. while it's quiet i'll try and cast a few more spells on the wordprocessor (!)

I wanted to say this reminded me of a moonscape somehow, but I didn't want to sound stupid; still, it does. A moonscape is a good thing, to me! I really do like it. I like when you write like this.

i remember the first time i saw the album cover for "tales from topographic oceans" by yes. that was my moonscape, but not our moon. i used to get high on the music alone. i used to stay up for days on end listening and painting. some pieces were to pay the rent, some were to release something in my head. shawn phillips helped to sort me out - his talent was inspirational (as is yours). i suppose i was turning into a man and hadn't quite gotten rid of the childhood baggage. in the end my M saved me, as she keeps doing......
