Desires overflowing
For one, unknowing
Leaves both glowing
Eyes never showing
Once, in a moment’s plight
Once, in time of flight
Once, eclipsed by candlelight
Warmth felt, not by sight
Words, longed for, spoken
Whispered and unbroken
Given freely, a small token
Taste and touch, chosen
Indelibly in my brain
Never thoughts of shame
Emotions still the same
Forbidden it will remain

Passionate and beautiful. Eloquent and heated. With a bit of a conflict intertwined. I loved it! This was a wonderful, wonderful, WONDERFUL write! I am really impressed and awestruck! Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!

Thanks so much, Kevin. I have missed relaying my thoughts on this forum. Your words are always soothing to the insecure soul.

Thanks, misty. I am pleased to know that my words colored the picture I was attempting to depict.

Dear Miss,

My, My!!...You have really outdone yourself with this piece! The words you have chosen depict

feelings of intense emotion. While the exact emotions remain unbeknownst to the

reader, it does stir one's senses to avail an erotic yet, innocently passionate release of

happiness and pleasure that is diametrically coupled with a burdensome sense of discontent and

despair --one can't help but wonder if the writer even knows, the exact nature of, her true feelings

that she is attempting to express. I am by no means criticizing your beautiful and eloquent choice

of words nor their melodious orchestration -It cannot go unspoken, however, the undeniable

signification of a deeply woven thread of confusion running throughout the cloak of your majestic

tapestry.

I suppose that a thread of confusion may very well be one of the hallmarks that bring beauty and

enchantment to many a poetic piece (a vehicle for the individual reader's freedom of association, if

you will) ...It is always an elating experience to completely identify with someone else's feelings

through our interrpretation of their expression of words; It is equally as nice to have affirmation of

our own feelings by discovering that there are others that feel the same way we do and actually

have written it down, in words, for us to enjoy!! The even more alluring notion could be the fact

that we get what we need out of others artistic expressions of pleasure, pain, confusion, anger,

uncertainty and the like --It doesn't really matter if the feelings of the author and the feelings of the

reader are exact parallels of one another; what matters most is the enjoyment and emotional

benefit that the individual who may be writing or the individual who may be reading receives

through her (his) personal interrpretation of the artistic dance of emotion-filled words.........Ahhhh!

for the love of POETRY!!!!

Please forgive my digression, It's been a while since I have commented on poetry. Even so -it's

been just as long since I have simply read poetry (dare I calculate the days it has been since I

haven written expressively ). Nevertheless, sorry that I have spilled some of my emotional babble

onto your little personal page in life.

See there!!!......Your work MUST really be inspiring if it is capable of releasing the repressed

emotions of an over-worked, under-paid, stressed-out, junior-year- Molecular Biology major,

single-mom-of-an-eight-year-old who is bound and determined to maintain a 4.0 come hell or high

water!

[{{Whew!! Breathe.... Ok, Now.}}]

(Okay, I did it again). SORRY and THANK YOU --That's all that I'm trying to say (in a nut-shell).

Thank you --for the talented inspiration. Sorry --for the (repressed)explosion of my dissertating

commentary!!!

Please do continue to inspire us with your pleasing talent!

Long time, no see!
