Bloody Farewell
By: Nichola Cordato

She sits alone in the dark
Thinking of her innocence taken away
Hoping for a fresh new start in life
Wanting just one good day

Emotion falling from her eyes
She wears them with eternal sorrow
She wants another chance
And to know there will be a tomorrow

This depression is eating at her body
Worse then a disease
She has begged god to help her
She prays all the time on her knees

No help sent along her way
Her guardian angel has broken wings
Her eyes hold to much frustration
And just a glance at her life stings

Her walls around her are collapsing
And her heartbreak is committing homicide
Her razor is now rusty from all the blood shed
And all she wants is cold fast suicide

She ended her misery, her sad depression
She ended her life, her sad tale of hell
She ended all the tears from draining her soul
She ended it all, with a bloody farewell

Hey Hey
I think I must be a haemophile. I just love those bloody endings. My warfarin helps my blood habit! Great poem Nika.
