+Franziska+
bitter child

you won't give in
you can't forgive
you won't let them get away
for what they've done
was not love was not enough
it leaves a scar that cannot heal
misunderstanding, vanity, abuse
a golden home destroyed
so you create your own
you've made it clear
you want to be alone

what are they worthy of?

in a new family you are reborn
the strength you proudly clung to
is multiplied
you find a million kindreds
all your dreams savoured, tears counted
all your deeds awarded
you can be who you are

and in love

This is a good and a deep poem, Franziska, for which I thank you.

I have just come to The Secret Place to post one of my own, as a matter of fact; I always post the new things here first, sometimes working them out and revising them here before sharing them elsewhere. I will post mine now and you can see what you think.

You are writing well! I hope I am too.

Love,

+Stevie
