Transcendental Sonnet #1357:
Where All is One

I neither possess nor am I possessed by wealth
But nevertheless I possess the wealth of health
Wealthy in the way we never appreciate
Until our health goes bankrupt and it is too late
I know and appreciate what I have and so
I mean to make the most of it before I go

Neither drink nor smoke nor do that which is risky
But focus my energy upon a frisky
Chase at a brisk pace of that which is beautiful
Doing the best I can and being dutiful
To God to humankind and to my destiny
And may some lovely lady keep me company

Then when all is said and done my life will end as begun
In the perfection of the mind of God where all is one
