Transcendental Sonnet #1352:
Opening

The sun is out shining early today
I opened the first window of the spring
The misty-moisty haze has burned away
I hear my St. John's nine-o'clock bells ring
My cat has been let out to go and play
Ravens croak parrots squawk but sparrows sing

It all comes in this window by my bed
Finally open opening my head
Clearing out all the spiderwebs and dust
And making me feel like living again
Like loving again like daring to trust:
Away with the past! Away with the pain

Sweet life I celebrate I honor you
The time has come to make sweet dreams come true
