Passion Overwhelmed
Cool the fire
Scatter the embers
No passion to burn us
No spark to enflame
Keep tight control
on the fuel of desire
Don't let it rage
or run free to scorch
The heart is not singed
The soul unburnt
By ecstasy's inferno
But life slowly dies
in the icy cold
