i just got here and it's such a relief. i live in a little beach town in delaware, United States. it seems that everyone i meet is on vacation and has their brain shut off. my poetry is growing and it's screaming to be read aloud to an audience. i even went so far as to buy a video camera, so at least i can watch myself reading. finding this site has been such a relief, because at least i can look at other people's work, criticism gets my brain working. so anyway, thank you all for the opportunity to discuss. i don't know if everyone realizes how rare we are.

Hi clee,
welcome to this magnificent site, made so only by us all!!
We are always pleased to see some new blood; and talking about that, I suppose I am rare too [there is only one of ME], though these days I am beginning to feel well-done! The old Arthur Itis

is starting to let me know that mobile days are slowly [hopefully] going to run out.
Enjoy yourself here, and cheer us all up, too!
Best regards, Bill

that's good, though, rhymer, you'll have more time to write.

My original works are poems? and a few articles.
Unfortunately, they tell me when they want to be written!
Whilst waiting, I try my best to help others and respond to their posts.
I am the eternal optopest, ie., optimistic about my pessimism! [or should that be pessimistic about my optimism]?
On the bright side, I must admit that, so far, my wrists and fingers reject all attempts at seize-up. This is probably due to the firm grip and check on my wallet, and no doubt the regular exercise with my pint pot!
All the best, Bill.
