Well, Janice seems quite passionate about the issues surrounding peace, and harmony! Maybe she would be a good candidate?

I love the idea she said about offering a meal to someone who needs it. Often times, we don't realize that a small gesturs fo kindness like that, could go a long way!

I believe that if we could all volunteer SOME of our time, or talents, or skills, we could really make a diffenrce in the world...

A pece forum sounds like a great idea sorry guys I have been out of the loop around here my head sees to have hit a few patchy clouds with massive fog and chaos surrounding me ??? I think Janice here very passionate about this topic as well and I nominate her also I love her ideas and views involving this she seems like a wonderful candidate and person for the Peace forum I hope Dara helps she adds so much here as well and as she said we do have alot of open minded and wonderful people here at the site and I feel we could all contribute domething to make this world better I think Ia m repeated myself but just wanted to add my two cents here you all know it is free lol. I'm very happy with the way this forum is growing and evolving.  Earlier today, we received our 100th member, which is pretty good considering this forum is just 4 weeks old.   I hope everyone here is enjoying everything, and that if you're not, you'll email me about it.

This site is acting up again. I logged in, and when I went to reply to something, it has the Guest please login notice up. I'm also listed as being online, which I'm not.

I think I figured out what happened. I was on the computer at Compton Library this morning. My guess is that I forgot to log out on that computer. Now i am at Long Beach library. So I guess that I'm logged in at Compton for the next few hours until my 360 minutes are up. Oh well!! I'll be more careful next time.

This is just an idea, which your forum encourages us to express. Instead of just "Advice," how about calling the Advice forum, "Thin Ice Advice"? It might be misleading but it might also imply that these issues need to be handled with care.

I prefer to not name the Advice forum "Thin Ice Advice."  It does rhyme, though, and thanks for the suggestion in any case.  It just isn't something with which I would feel comfortable; the term lacks a certain specific gravity, and does not sound somehow serious enough to create the feeling of security necessary to facilitate trust and meaningful dialogue, nor to reflect my earnestness of purpose and dedication to helping all those who ask to the uttermost of my ability.  On a lighter note, I will offer the fact that I am a Capricorn!  Maybe that explains my aversion to this term.

thank you angelroze and Anne for your thoughts on a Story Board.  What do other ppl think?  I think it's a good idea if ppl have short stories to post.   Did you have any particular types or genres of short stories in mind, ROoze, when you made the suggestion?

Anyway, I'm curious what others think about a Short Story Board.  Please let me know.  I'll check back later today and in all likelihood create the board at that time.

Dara's idea about a short story board is great. Aspiring writers can share their short stories with us. However,
I also propose a second story board where someone can start off with the first paragraph or two and then whoever comes by can write a few paragraphs and see where the story goes. It may sound ridiculous at the end but should be fun to do together.

It was Roze's i just agreed to it, ive written a couple short stories... one i like the others i dont but i think it would be a good idea, short stories are easier for some people than poetry and i love to read them....

The more doors which we open for creativity the better.  Let our site be a point of departure for every flight of fancy, every fantastic voyage, every journey of self-discovery, every expansion of consciousness.
