My heart waits for those people
who with smiling cheeks and shining eyes
return home safely with or without injuries on body
and clasp their kith and kin with warmth springing all over


My soul wails for those people
who with waning eyes and weary looks
wait for the return of their heroes from the warring zones
burning all the peace of minds during day and nights silence

the battering flashes of cries come out from the wilderness
questioning the reasons for waging such unmindful wars
are the wars born out from the greedy minds?
why doves wings are cut before they start flying from the nests?


let all the human minds and souls search for the apt and correct reasons
to enable us to be answerable to the pale faces of the bereaved families
why not the lights in every house burn with delighting peace and joyous smiles
let all the mankind search and show the solutions in amicable and inimitable styles
