Transcendental Sonnet #1329:
Together As We Go
Lacking logical explanation I remain
In spite of everything I have come all this way
I pick myself up from the dust and start again
With no idea of what to expect today
But I need no idea nor explanation
I have learned there is no point in my asking "why?"
So the question becomes "am I willing to try?"
Right or wrong there is no room for rumination
I want to be with you I want to be and do
My best and pass the test this life would seem to be
And that is all I can do it would seem to me
So let us walk together toward that end my friend
By faith and not by sight through every day and night
Since this is all we know together as we go

Thanks, Mandy!
I'm happy to be here.
I will try to write something good today. It really is getting to be spring here now, and the time change always seem to hasten the progress of spring, the longer days giving me more time to play outside, as it were. My poetry gets warmer and sunnier along with the weather; it always reflects the weather, even as my mood does.
I'm happy that it's spring now. I'm happy to be alive, and free. I'm over my recent disappointment in life, and find it all to be deliciously exciting again; more than ever, actually.
Peace and love to you, my dear and gifted friend and fellow poet,
+Stevie

Steven,
I love this poem as well. Glad to hear you are doing better. It is amazing to reflect upon something and move on from it, or away from it as the case may be. I too, struck a blow recently(in no way the magnitude of yours of course) and thought I was doomed to misery and self pity. It has been a little over a week and I am actually ok with the whole thing. Not like me at all. I tend to dwell in loathing and regret, but this time was different or maybe I am just different. Makes me proud to feel I am progressing in this way. I hope things continue to look up for you. We are all very happy to have you back. Your talent is wonderous.

Your words are so much more effective than any SSRI antidepressant, Nikki (in my case, Lexapro)!
Thank you... and I am so happy to hear that you are recovering from your own hurt.
Let's live. I will always be your friend.
Love,
+Stevie

It is always nice to attain a new friend. Especially one as kind as yourself. Thank you Steven. You are such a talented person and I enjoy reading your thoughts. You give a piece of yourself each time. I know exactly how that is. I feel so at home here. I thank Mandy once again for telling me about it. It is my own poetic community. I love it.
Much love and peace,
Nikki
