YOUR HAPPY ENDING

Your dragon’s un-slain,
And your glass slippers are coated with dust.
Your Fairy tale is slipping,
And your Fairy Godmother’s MIA.
A happy ending shrouded in cobwebs,
As your tears lay in silent wait,
But as a heroine you over come,
A classic story of love and loss.
We all get the chance to live happily ever after,
And your happy ending is just a page turn away.

I hope that is true. I know I am antsy and impatient when it comes to this love thing, but I do long to be near someone again. Someone to hold on to and talk to for hours. Someone to understand all my weird ways and strange behavior. I know my day will come, but it brings me down when I least expect it. I am trying so hard to remain strong about the whole thing and that is not easy for me. I will have to take comfort in the words of friends and the ones I write and just take it slow. Slow and steady, not looking, letting it get to me. I love you dearly and thanks again for the poems. I need my dad to hook up the computer so I can print them out.

Thanks for going out with me yesterday. Hope I wasn't too much of a poop.
