Note:
I made parts because though the same message is being sent, the two parts didn't seem to fit together and seperately they sound better (I think).
LOVE REQUIRES US: 1
Love requires us
To break down our walls
And leave our comfort zone
To say what we feel
Even if we are afraid
To abide by truths
And to banish these little white lies.
====================
LOVE REQUIRES US: 2
Laid out in the open
Our hearts need to breathe
Our thoughts need to speak
Love requires us
To become more then ourselves
To change our ways
And to step up and be ready to take the fall.
I suppose they could be two seperate poems if I took out "love requires us", but this is what I have so here it is.

Well done! I think the underlying theme here is that "It's not about us" ...selfless love. Did I win the prize? It is beautifully written Mandy. I wouldn't change a thing. As always, I am so impressed with your poetry. You have such a gift. Keep up with the pen!
Warm regards,
Kevo

Those are good. Moreover, they are true.
