"We only know of dark matter's existence because of its influence on ordinary matter."

This just goes to show that astronomers and cosmologists (and therefore physicists in general) really have no clue as to what's really going on.

It is perplexing and confusing the amount of various theories that there are out THERE.

you can add to that
"and we only know of ordinary matter's existence because of its influence on our minds"

physicists deal only with what can be sensed (directly or indirectly)

Just as ordinary particles make up the matter all about us, antiparticles could make up antimatter. Antielectrons , existing particles like electrons but with a positive electric charge, also known as positrons. A proton with a negative electric charge is an antiproton. Neutron - Antineutron.

remember
antimatter is made of mass, not antimass
