Orthorexic Ornithology
I eat a little rice one day
A few beans on the day following
An alternation thought to complete me
But I ran out of apples completely
Which were the best part I would say
Of this systematic swallowing
Obsessive idea and theory
Which tends to become rather dreary
Without the apples but it is raining
And I am afraid to drive
Out there so I will leave off complaining
I am remaining alive
Whatever it is that means
I have eaten today's beans
I guess I have a lot of explaining
To do to be understood
An extraordinarily strange bird
Pursued by a shouting should
In pursuit of the exact right word
If I could find it I would
