Transcendental Sonnet #1296:
Through Eyes Once Dead Dawn's First Faint Rays
Do I force the spring
By imagining
These leaflets of the lightest brightest green
And do my eyes deceive me?
They appear in this winter which has been
The daily bread of these my famine days
Of sorrow which now grieve me
Which I thought were forever and always
But death now yields to life winter to spring
If my heart will believe me
Accept that I am not imagining
And dare to hope that there is hope for me
I see these signs of life and hungrily
Devour through eyes once dead dawn's first faint rays

Though the stares never shine I will always amagine what a beautiful sight.
I was never able to see the flowers bloom, nor was I able to see my children grow
up to be the best thet I know they can be. My litte daughter Kenia she will soon be a
eye doctor, excuss me if I don't know the correct term, but I know being that she had a father that can't see that she will give her all attention to make shore that they get the best help ever because she wishes that she can give me the help but she can't so thats her wish in life I hope she accompalishes her goals in all tha she do.

Thank you, both of you, with all my heart for sharing such beautiful comments with me here.
It makes me so happy when my poetry succeeds in speaking from my heart to yours.
May God bless and keep you in the palm of his hand, to the end of the road.
Respect and solidarity,
+Stevie
